EuroPuppy’s commitment to privacy!
Euro Puppy Kft. (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller), in accordance with the relevant legislation – with special regard to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation) – and its own data protection policies, hereby aims to inform its customers about the data processing activities related to the website www.europuppy.com.
Euro Puppy is committed to protecting your personal data and acknowledges the responsibility of handling it appropriately. Below is a summary of how Euro Puppy collects, uses, and protects your personal information, as well as the rights you are entitled to in relation to this.
This notice contains information exclusively related to specific data processing activities and does not cover all activities of the Data Controller. For further information, please contact the Data Controller.
1. DATA CONTROLLER’S INFORMATION

2. DESCRIPTION OF DATA PROCESSING ACTIVITIES
2.1 REQUESTING INFORMATION, CONTACT, QUOTATION REQUEST
Data subjects may request information or a quote from the Data Controller regarding the service.

Purpose of data processing | To maintain contact with potential customers, respond to inquiries, and provide quotes. |
Legal basis for data processing | Article 6 (1)(a) of the Regulation – the data subject’s consent. The data subject acknowledges that the data provided during contact with the Data Controller will be processed for the purpose of providing a response, and consents to this processing. The Data Controller will provide the requested information or quote. After communication ends, the data will be deleted after 6 months (retention period). |
Recipients of the data | Employees of the Data Controller in the course of their duties. If communication takes place online, the Data Controller may use an IT service provider as a data processor. |
Duration of data processing | Until consent is withdrawn or 6 months from the end of communication, whichever comes first. |
2.2 HANDLING CUSTOMER DATA IN CASE OF PRUCHASE
The Data Controller necessarily processes the buyer’s data to complete the sale, organize the delivery of the puppy, and issue an invoice to the buyer.
Scope of processed data | Buyer’s name and contact details (address, phone number, email address); Billing name, billing address, and the mandatory invoice elements as required by law. |
Purpose of data processing | To contact the buyer to fulfill the purchase (e.g., delivery, payment); To issue and send the invoice to the data subject. |

2.3 SENDING NEWSLETTERS
EuroPuppy will manThe Data Controller provides a newsletter service to its customers and potential customers who are interested in its services. Subscription to the newsletter occurs when the data subject provides their data and consents to the data processing.
The data subject can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email or by sending an email to privacy@europuppy.com.

Legal basis for data processing | Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation – the data subject’s consent. By subscribing to the newsletter, the data subject provides their data and consents to the processing. The Data Controller deletes the data of the data subject immediately upon unsubscription, but no later than within 15 days. |
Recipients of the data | Employees of the Data Controller in the course of their duties. For newsletter distribution and subscriber list management, we use the service of Sales Autopilot LLC (address: 1024 Budapest, Margit krt. 31-33, mezzanine 4-5.) as a data processor. |
Duration of data processing | Until the consent is withdrawn (i.e., unsubscription) or the purpose of processing is fulfilled, whichever comes first. |
2.4 COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT
The Data Controller ensures the right to file a complaint in accordance with legal obligations for its customers and other interested parties. Complaints can be made verbally or in writing through any of the Data Controller’s contact channels. In the case of verbal complaints, the Data Controller will record the complaint in writing. The Data Controller will process the complaint and take prompt action to address it. A register of complaints is maintained.

2.5 PROCESSING CONTACT DETAILS OF PARTNERS
In its relationship with contractual partners and clients, the Data Controller processes the contact and representative data of the partners. Due to the nature of the data, it may include personal data (e.g., name, email address, phone number).

2.6 COOKIE MANAGEMENT

2.7 ADVERTISEMENTS AND ANALYTICS
This website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads services.
Google Analytics: A service that transfers website traffic data to Google’s servers in the USA. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with other data held by Google. EuroPuppy uses reports from Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage patterns.

Google Ads: Some pages contain free conversion tracking features. When you interact with us online, a tracking code on the landing page helps understand how you reached us.

Hotjar: To better understand user needs and optimize our service, we use Hotjar technology. It analyzes time spent on pages, links clicked, and website interactions.
Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data such as anonymized IP addresses, screen size, browser info, geographic location (country level), and preferred language.
The data is stored in pseudonymized user profiles and is not used to identify individual users. You can opt out of this type of tracking here.
Facebook Pixel: Our website uses Facebook “visitor action pixels” to track user behavior after clicking on a Facebook ad. This helps measure ad effectiveness for statistical and market research purposes.
The collected data is anonymous to us but stored on Facebook servers, where it may be associated with your Facebook account and used by Facebook for its own advertising, in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

3. DATA TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES
To operate certain services and functions, it is essential for us to share information with other users or upon your request. Additionally, we may share your data with trusted external service providers for technical data analysis, processing and/or storage services, and newsletter management. These providers are carefully selected and must comply with strict data protection and security standards.
We will not transfer personal data to third parties under any circumstances without your explicit consent, except where required by law, during official proceedings, or when we use subcontractors (e.g., for accounting, shipping, customs clearance, or postal services) to fulfill our contractual obligations. In such cases, subcontractors are contractually obligated to use your data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. They are not authorized to retain the data or share it with any third parties for any purpose.

Our Data Processors outside the EU
We do not transfer personal data to third countries unless the data subject has explicitly consented under Article 49 of the Regulation.

4. DATA SECURITY MEASURES
EuroPuppy stores client database information on its own computers and on the servers of its data processor cloud service providers.
We use IT tools selected by EuroPuppy and our data processors to manage, process, and protect your data. These systems ensure that only authorized individuals can access the data and that they can only record, read, transmit, modify, or delete the data if permitted. The technologies used guarantee the integrity and security of the data throughout the data management process.
EuroPuppy warns that electronic messages transmitted via the internet may be vulnerable to certain threats, which could lead to fraudulent activity, data disclosure, or data alteration.
5 . YOUR RIGHTS
Your rights are defined by the Regulation, with the most important being:
- You have the right to request access to, rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing of your personal data, and to object to the processing of such data. You also have the right to data portability.
- Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without justification. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
You may exercise your rights by contacting the Data Controller at the contact details provided above. Upon receiving your request, the Data Controller will respond in writing without undue delay and at the latest within one month.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., phone: +36-1-391-1400, email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu) or take legal action. The case falls under the jurisdiction of the competent court. You may choose to initiate proceedings at the court of your place of residence.
